If someone were to take my idea and change it up i would sorta get offended if they did a bad job but if they did a good job i would like it but i gotta get that credit man. I think it is wrong to steal another person’s artwork. Its ok if it is just remixed and used for fun but it should be credited. It is wrong if it is sold with no credit of the original artist. I believe taking someone else’s artwork and adding your own style is wrong in many ways. Sure you’d like to add more to it if it needed it or you’d like to just add your style to it but that doesn’t give you the right to steal someone else’s ideas. I believe the only way it would be fair is if you were to ask the artist for permission to alter their work and if they are okay with it then go for it.
